Create a user-friendly Level installer for non-technical users by using a batch file to simplify the installation process, avoiding the need for command-line knowledge.

Create an installer more suitable for non-technical folks

The standard method of installing Level requires pasting a one-liner into PowerShell. In some circumstances, this might seem foreign and confusing to those not familiar with the basics of a command-line interface. In these cases, it might be beneficial to wrap the installer into an MSI that end-users can simply double click.

End-User MSI Installer

What's the Deal?

  • It's a double-click install. Easy peasy.

  • Your API key is baked right in.

  • It handles user escalation (because Level needs those admin rights).

How to Get It

Just email our support team and ask for one ([email protected]). We'll whip up a custom MSI installer tailored just for you.

What Your Users Need to Know

  • They'll need admin permissions on their machine. (Level's gotta have those admin rights to do its thing.)

  • Double-click, follow the prompts, and they're good to go!

Remember, this MSI option is perfect when you need to simplify things for your less tech-savvy users. It's all about making Level accessible to everyone in your organization.

End-users will not be able to install Level unless they have administrative rights on their computers.
