Gerät Berechtigungs

Heute aktualisiert

Einführung

The Berechtigungs tab on a device shows every technician in your organization who has access to this device, along with their title and role. It's a read-only view — a quick way to see who can manage this endpoint without leaving the device.

Berechtigungs are configured at the group level in Workspace → Berechtigungs. Changes to access control always happen there.

Gerät Berechtigungs

Open any device, then click Berechtigungs in the left nav under the device name.

Gerät Berechtigungs

The table shows every technician with access to this device. Each row includes:

  • Name — the technician's display name and email address

  • Title — an optional title set on the technician's account (e.g., "Demo", "Senior Tech")

  • Role — the role assigned to the technician for this device's group (e.g., Administrator, Senior Tech, Junior Tech, Tech)

A technician appears here because they have permissions for the group this device belongs to. The device itself doesn't have its own permission settings — access is always inherited from the group.

ℹ️ HINWEIS: This view shows all technicians with any level of access to this device. The Role column tells you what each technician can do — roles are defined and configured in Workspace → Berechtigungs.

Suchening Technicians

Use the Suchen users bar to filter by name or email. Useful on larger teams where the list is long.

Managing Access

This tab is read-only. To add or remove technician access, or to change roles, go to Workspace → Berechtigungs.

Berechtigungs in Level are group-based. A technician's access to this device is determined entirely by their permissions on the group this device belongs to. Updating that group assignment updates their access to every device in the group simultaneously.

For a full explanation of roles, access levels, and how group permissions work, see Workspace → Berechtigungs.

Häufig gestellte Fragen

  • Why can I see this tab but can't edit anything? Berechtigungs are managed at the group level, not the device level. Any changes to who can access this device have to go through Workspace → Berechtigungs, where group assignments and roles are configured.

  • A technician doesn't appear here but they should have access. What's wrong? Berechtigungs come from the device's group assignment. If a technician is missing, check that they've been granted access to the correct group in Workspace → Berechtigungs. Also confirm the device is in the expected group — you can verify the group in the breadcrumb at the top of the device details page.

  • Who can view the Berechtigungs tab? Any technician with access to the device can view this tab. Bearbeitening permissions requires Administrator access, which is managed in Workspace → Berechtigungs.
