Resource Library

Browse and import pre-built automations, monitors, and scripts from Level's resource library.

Updated yesterday

Introduction

The Resource Library is a collection of pre-built automations, monitors, and scripts you can import into your Level account with one click. Browse by type, category, or platform, then import and deploy — or use them as a starting point and customize from there.

What's in the Library

The library covers three resource types:

  • Automations — pre-configured pipelines with triggers, actions, and failure handling built in

  • Monitors — monitoring policies ready to assign to device groups

  • Scripts — standalone scripts you can run ad-hoc or use in automations

Resources are organized into categories:

Category

What's covered

General

Everyday IT tasks that don't fit a single category

Maintenance

Disk cleanup, scheduled restarts, upkeep tasks

Patching

OS and third-party patching for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Security

Endpoint security monitoring and remediation

Services

Managing system services

Setup

Device configuration and provisioning

Software

Installing and managing applications

All three platforms are covered — Windows, macOS, and Linux — and many resources work across all three.

Importing a Resource

💡 TIP: Imported automations aren't active by default. Open the automation after importing and enable the trigger when you're ready to run it.

  1. Browse or filter to find the resource you want.

  2. Click the resource card to open its detail page.

  3. Click Import to add it to your Level account.

For automations, the imported automation appears in your automations list. For monitors, it appears in your monitors list. For scripts, it appears in your script library.

ℹ️ NOTE: Imported resources are copies — changes you make don't affect the library version, and library updates don't overwrite your copy.

FAQ

  • Is the library free to access? Yes. All resources in the library are free to import and use on any Level plan.

  • Can I submit my own resources to the library? Yes — there's a submission form. If you've built an automation, monitor, or script that others would find useful, you can contribute it.

  • How do I know if a resource will work in my environment? Each resource card lists the supported platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux). Review the resource detail before importing — it describes what the automation or script does and any requirements.

  • What if I import something and want to start over with the original? Re-import the resource from the library. Each import creates a new copy, so the original is always available.
