Set policies to keep your devices up-to-date and compliant
In order to ensure devices are receiving operating system patches, patch policies are used to choose and schedule patch behaviors. Under Policies > Patch is the list of patch policies. When a policy is created or edited, several options are available.

Reboot devices after updates: If enabled, devices will be rebooted after patches are installed. If a device is updated outside of a patch window (see offline device option), Level won't reboot the device after installing updates.
Retry Install on Offline Devices: If enabled, updates will be installed when the devices come back online.
Send Notifications: Enter email addresses to receive patch summary notification emails.
Schedule: Choose when patches will be installed.
โTime Zone Considerations: The time reflected on patch policies is shown in your browsers local time zone, not the agent's time zone. This means that all scheduled updates are aligned with the time zone of the user viewing or editing the policy.Targets: Add the tags of the devices that will receive this patch policy.
Run Policy Now: Run the policy on demand outside of the schedule.
Windows Patch Management:
Checkboxes to enable or disable the installation of different categories of patches
The option to install the patches Immediately, as soon as they are released, or to Delay Installation for stability.

Mac Patch Management:
Checkboxes to enable or disable the installation of different types of patches
The option to install the patches Immediately, as soon as they are released, or to Delay Installation for stability.
The time in days for delaying patches
Linux Patch Management:
Checkboxes to enable or disable the installation of different types of patches
Unlike Windows and Mac, Linux patches are installed immediately upon release without the option to delay.
