Introduction

Control how your organization appears to end users during remote control sessions. This page is where you set your organization's name and upload custom logos that appear in OS notifications when a technician connects to a device or requests end-user approval.

By default, Level's own branding appears in those notifications. Télécharger your own logo and your end users will see your organization's name and branding instead.

Updating Your Organization Nom

The Nom field controls the organization identifier that appears in all end-user notifications. When a technician initiates a remote control session, the end user sees a notification formatted as:

"[Technician name] from [Organization name] is remotely accessing your computer."

To update your organization name:

  1. Navigate to Paramètres → Organization.

  2. Cliquez sur into the Nom field and update the text.

  3. Cliquez sur Enregistrer changes.

ℹ️ REMARQUE : The organization name shown here is the same name that appears across all end-user-facing notifications — remote control sessions, approval requests, and connected confirmations. Keep it recognizable to your clients.

Téléchargering Your Logo

Level shows a logo in OS-level notifications on managed devices. You can upload two versions: one for light mode and one for dark mode.

Accepted formats: PNG or JPG. Télécharger via click or drag and drop.

Primary/Light Logo

This logo appears in notifications on devices using a light OS themes.

  1. Under Logo (Primary/Light), click Cliquez sur to upload or drag a file into the upload zone.

  2. Sélectionnez your PNG or JPG file.

Dark Logo

This version is used on devices running a dark OS theme, where the notification background is dark.

  1. Under Logo (Dark), click Cliquez sur to upload or drag a file into the upload zone.

  2. Sélectionnez your PNG or JPG file.

  3. Review the Windows Preview and macOS Preview panels below to confirm appearance.

  4. Cliquez sur Enregistrer changes.

💡 CONSEIL : Use a version of your logo with a transparent background. It renders cleanly across both light and dark notification surfaces without a colored box around it.

⚠️ WARNING: If you don't upload a logo, Level's default branding appears in all end-user notifications. End users will see the Level logo, not yours.

ℹ️ REMARQUE : To remove an uploaded logo and revert to the Level default, click Supprimer below the logo thumbnail, then click Enregistrer changes.

How Nontifications Work

When a technician starts a remote control session or requests end-user approval, the managed device displays an OS notification. The notification text follows this format:

  • Connecting: "[Technician name] from [Organization name] is remotely accessing your computer."

  • Connected: "Connected: [Technician name] from [Organization name]"

The logo uploaded here appears alongside that text. This is the end user's primary signal that a legitimate, authorized connection is happening — so accurate branding matters.

🖥️ PLATFORM REMARQUE :

  • Windows: Nontification appears in the bottom-right corner.

  • macOS: Nontification appears in the top-right corner.

Questions fréquemment posées

  • Where does my organization name show up? It appears in OS notifications on managed devices whenever a technician starts a remote control session or sends an end-user approval request. The format is "[Technician name] from [Organization name]." It's the primary way end users identify who's connecting to their machine.

  • What's the difference between the Primary/Light and Dark logos? Level uses the appropriate version based on the OS notification context. Télécharger both so your branding looks correct on all platforms.

  • What file formats are supported for logos? PNG, JPG, and GIF. PNG with a transparent background is the best choice for clean rendering across notification surfaces.

  • Can individual technicians override the organization logo with their own branding? Non. The logo is set at the organization level and applies to all technicians' sessions.

  • Who can change the organization name and logo? Technicians with admin access to the organization's settings. If you can't access Paramètres → Organization, check your role permissions with your Level administrator.

  • The notification shows the old organization name after I updated it. What's wrong? The name updates immediately in Level, but devices that are currently mid-session may still show the previous value. New sessions will reflect the updated name.
