Maintenance Mode

Maintenance Mode allows you to work on your devices without triggering unnecessary alerts or automated actions.

Updated over a week ago

Maintenance Mode is a feature that lets you temporarily pause alerts and automated actions on any device while you're working on it.

When Maintenance Mode is enabled:

  • No alerts will be generated from the endpoints. This ensures that you're not flooded with unnecessary notifications while performing updates or troubleshooting.

  • Automated remediation scripts and automations will not run. This is particularly useful when you’re stopping services on purpose, and you don’t want Level to try and restart them or fix something you're intentionally changing.

It's a simple but powerful feature to give you peace of mind while managing devices.

You can enable or disable Maintenance Mode in several ways:

  • Directly from the endpoint you're working on (See Actions -> Maintenance Mode).

  • In bulk from the device listing to apply it across multiple devices (See Actions -> Maintenance Mode).

  • Automatically within an Automation for even more control.

It’s a flexible way to manage maintenance tasks without interruptions.
