Introduction

Level uses usage-based pricing with no contracts, no per-feature add-ons, and no long-term commitments. This article covers the base price, what's included, and how bulk pricing works for larger deployments.


Pricing Details

How much does Level cost?

Your first 10 endpoints are free — permanently, with no time limit. This covers home lab use and lets companies evaluate Level at scale without a trial clock running.

Once you go above 10 endpoints, flat-rate billing kicks in at $2 USD per device per month for your entire count. So 11 devices is $22/month, 12 devices is $24/month, and so on. If you drop back to 10 or fewer, billing stops again.

ℹ️ NOTE: The $2 rate applies to your full device count once you cross 10 — not just the devices above the threshold. Going from 10 to 11 is a $22 bill, not a $2 one.

Every feature is included at that rate — no modules gated behind higher tiers, no add-on charges. That covers:

  • Asset management and device inventory

  • Remote access (remote control, background management)

  • Monitoring & Alerting

  • Patching

  • Automations, scripting, and all other platform features

💡 TIP: Level won't let you enroll an 11th device until you've added a payment method. This is intentional — it prevents accidentally crossing into paid billing without realizing it. Add a card in Settings → Billing when you're ready to scale beyond 10 endpoints.

Does Level require a contract?

No. Level has no contracts and no minimum commitment period. You can cancel at any time.

Does Level offer bulk pricing?

Yes, for accounts managing 1,500 or more endpoints. Contact [email protected] to discuss options. Pricing is customized based on scale.

💡 TIP: If you're getting close to 1,500 endpoints, reach out before you hit the threshold to get pricing in place ahead of your next billing cycle.


FAQ

  • Is there a free trial? Your first 10 endpoints are permanently free — no time limit, no credit card required. That's the evaluation path. You only need to add a payment method when you're ready to enroll an 11th device.

  • What counts as a "device" for billing purposes? Any device visible in your Level dashboard — including devices that are offline or in maintenance mode. The only way to stop a device counting toward your bill is to delete it from Level. Powering it off or putting it in maintenance mode isn't enough.

  • Do you offer annual billing? Yes. Annual accounts get 10% off the monthly per-device rate. Contact [email protected] to switch to annual billing.

  • Do you offer discounts for non-profits or educational institutions? Yes. Both qualify for 10% off. Contact [email protected] to apply.

  • Is the $2/device price locked in, or does it change? If Level raises prices in the future, existing customers are grandfathered at their current rate. You won't be automatically moved to a higher price.
