How to Cancel Your Level Subscription

You can cancel your Level subscription directly from the Billing settings — no support ticket required.


How to cancel

  1. Log into your Level account.

  2. Navigate to Settings → Billing.

  3. Click Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts.


What happens after you cancel

Final charge. Level bills in arrears, so you'll receive one last invoice at the end of the current billing cycle covering usage during that month. Canceling before the cycle ends doesn't waive this charge.

30-day grace period for endpoints. If you have devices enrolled when you cancel, those endpoints remain on your account for 30 days. After that, they're automatically deleted.

Reinstallation required if you return. If you resubscribe after the 30-day window has passed, you'll need to reinstall the Level agent on your devices. Agents from the deleted endpoints won't reconnect automatically.

💡 TIP: If you're canceling temporarily and plan to return, consider canceling close to the end of your billing cycle to minimize the overlap between your last active day and your final invoice date.

  • Can I pause my subscription instead of canceling? Pausing isn't currently supported. If you'd like to discuss options, contact [email protected].

  • What happens to my data when the account is canceled? Devices and device history are deleted after 30 days. Everything else is retained — automations, scripts, monitors, custom fields, and all other account configuration.

  • Can I cancel partway through a billing cycle and avoid the final charge? No. Level bills in arrears, so the final invoice reflects actual usage through your last active day regardless of when in the cycle you cancel.

  • What if I cancel but my endpoints go offline before the 30-day window? The 30-day clock starts at cancellation, not at last agent check-in. Offline devices are still deleted at the 30-day mark regardless.

  • Do I need to uninstall the agent manually before canceling? No. After 30 days, Level removes the devices from your account. That said, it's worth deleting your active devices from the Level dashboard before you leave — deleting a device from Level triggers an agent uninstall on the machine itself, which keeps things clean on your end.
